Trashion Show 2026 – Important Information Date & Time: May 16th, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM Location: Bellingham Circus Guild Dress Rehearsal: Designers and models are asked to arrive on the day of the show at 1:00 PM for a rehearsal, which should last about an hour. Show Preparations: Please return at 4:00 PM for final preparations before the show begins. FINAL DESIGN SUBMISSION DEADLINE APRIL 27th,2026 Designer Prizes: 1st place ($500) Runner-up ($250) Peoples Choice($125) Best Model($125)

When submitting your design for the 2026 Trashion Show – Haute Couture: Earth Edition, please include the proposed name of your piece and a brief description of the recycled or reclaimed materials you plan to use. Designs must be made of at least 75% recycled materials and reflect the theme Haute Couture — Earth Edition. We encourage you to draw inspiration from the natural world — forests, oceans, landscapes, wildlife, and organic forms — while elevating your look with couture-level craftsmanship. All garments must be safe, secure, and durable enough to be worn comfortably throughout the event. Designers are encouraged to explore earth-inspired color palettes, dynamic textures, sculptural elements, and interactive details that bring their vision to life on the runway.

    An outfit made from bubble wrap insulation, cardboard and plastic food containers, metal from political yard signs, repurposed PPE, and more – including a sloth puppet dressed as a knight to slay the dragon!

    This wonderfully weird outfit is made from trash picked up on the beach including broken plates, a roll of film, and sea glass – plus circuit boards, wires, and a thrifted wedding gown.
