Build Community Day 2024
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Build Community Day and Groundbreaking Ceremony at Mateo Meadows!
Together, we completed four repair projects in the Everson and Nooksack community. Projects included yard cleanup and installation of exterior stairs and handrails.
Thanks to the Whatcom Community Foundation’s Project Neighborly Program, we were able to execute these critical repairs to help build resilience for low income homeowners and strengthen the entire community.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the first four units at Mateo Meadows was a wonderful and meaningful occasion with future homeowners, local businesses, many community members and representatives from the Nooksack Tribe gathered together to celebrate.
