Thank you to everyone for coming out in August, 2019, to the annual WCAR Golf Tournament at the North Bellingham Golf Course, benefitting Habitat. We had a great time golfing, and the rain stopped just in time. In one event we raised approximately $15,000 for Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County!

And of course, you can’t beat the company. A huge thank you to the WCAR Golf Committee for all their help organizing this event, and of course a huge thank you to all of the sponsors this year.

Habitat is currently building 9 homes in Whatcom County, which includes the first 8 units of the Telegraph Townhome Project. It’s because of the tournament participants, along with the support from WCAR, that the windows and doors are being installed this month. The plumbers and the electricians have started their work inside these units. Soon, we’ll be ready to start the siding.

We’re on schedule to move our first 8 partner families into their new homes by March 2020. All of your support makes this possible. Thank you!
