Home Builders Blitz
Home Builders Blitz is an annual event-based invitation to a special group of friends – builders, contractors, suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors – to help Habitat for Humanity in Whatcom County advance through critical phases of construction at a rapid pace. While working to promote affordable homeownership in our county, participants get to have fun working with peers, enjoy the benefits of service, and build together in fellowship.
We’re currently organizing our Spring Blitz at the Mateo Meadows Community with the goal to finish the framing of a four-unit townhome in just 10 build days! Work will be performed during regular build days/hours. We are looking for skilled carpenters to lead the teams during specific days but welcome everyone regardless of construction experience to participate throughout the entirety of the build.
